Each of us has chosen to be stewards of our Revolutionary heritage by becoming members of this organization. This is rightfully ours by birthright as descendants. This stewardship comes with great responsibility in the challenging times that we are currently living in.

We must all stand bravely and act courageously against all threats to this heritage. The threats are many some 224 years later. Threats such as: public ignorance and apathy, the recent onslaught of history revisionism and the daily loss of battlefields and significant historical sites to development.

As president, I hope to encourage and inspire many to become involved in the preservation of our Revolutionary heritage for the sake of our current and future generations. This is an exciting time to be in this organization, but challenging. I share a desire to invest in many of the same goals and endeavors of those that have gone before as well as being open to new ideas and directions.
