2011 is just around the corner and we have new officers. This year will be a very exciting one as we will be host to the 121st NSSAR Congress where delegates from all over the United States will convene in our fair city of Winston-Salem. We estimate that over 500 compatriots will muster in our town. Visit the Congress website.

The SAR is a "lineage" society. This means that each member has traced their family tree back to a point of having an ancestor who supported the cause of American Independence during the years 1774-1783.
