By all accounts, the 116th Congress was a momentuous occasion. As
they say, they do things BIG in Texas. The state of North Carolina
was well represented with Senior Members of the Executive Board, and it
was NC Congressman Howard Coble who introduced a Proclamation in Congress
that celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the SAR National Charter (you may
read the entire proclamation below). Showing the continuity of our
national resolve, Judge Nathan White was sworn in as the new President General
of the NSSAR.
