On a cool but sunny day in March, 2007 the members of the Thomasville Rotary Club met to celebrate their 85th year as a chartered organizartion. One of their members, Paul Bowles, celebrated his 90th Birthday the same evening, and as it turned out, there was even more cause for celebration. Dr. Bob Sprinkle, a past District 7690 District Governor, was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award, the highest civilian award presented in the state of North Carolina. The pictures below capture some of the magic of that evening.
