In keeping with recent tradition, the members of the Alamance Battleground,
Nathanael Greene and Bethabara chapters of the NCSSAR met together for
a combined Christmas Party at the Greensboro Country Club on December
12th, 2006. This particular party proved to be a different celebration
than had ever been staged before. For one, a new group of participants,
the members of the Gen. Francis Nash Chapter, NCSSAR were invited to attend
and several of their officers accepted the invitation. But especially
gratifying was the joint birthday celebration of Bill Snyder and Nat Clark
on their 80th birthdays. Replete with presents, cards, a Birthday
Cake and Certificates of Appreciation from the NCSSAR, this was a party
that went down in the history books.
