Officially, it was 86 degrees outside on a sultry, summer day, when the 225th Anniversary of the the Battle of Eutaw Springs was celebrated by two organizations whose charters read essentially the same - preserve the memory of the Revolutionary War heroes who'd given their lives and fortunes to found a great nation. The South Carolina Society of the Sons of the American Revolution conducted an SAR wreath laying ceremony, largely witnessed by the attendees of the Nathanael Greene Symposium which was sponsored by the Southern Campaigns of the American Revolution. Everyone in attendance agreed that more prominence should attach to this, the last great battle of the American Revolution in the South.
