They came here to do the business of the North Carolina Society of the
Sons of the American Revolution ..... and do business they did! The
Board of Managers approved the formation of two new chapters within the
state, welcomed the officers of the newly revitalized Gen Francis Nash chapter,
approved fund raisers for the 2011 National Congress to be held in North
Carolina and were briefed on how best to use our online (Internet) resources
to disseminate news and information. The Vice President General of
the South Atlantic District, NSSAR, Compatriot Greg Ohanesian, addressed
the board and invited them to join other district officers in Charleston,
SC, to plot the future of the South Atlantic District within the SAR. All
in all, a very productive day.
