It was a cloudless day and the sun shone through to the battle site, illuminating the white sand in a dazzling display of brilliance. Here, too, were the Patriots, hundreds of them, many dressed in Revolutionary War uniforms to commemorate Georgia's favorite Revolutionary War Battle, the Battle of Kettle Creek. This is a nationally sponsored event in the SAR, and the attendance figures bore this out - there were representatives from every state in the South Atlantic District, and just about every county in the state of Georgia. It was quite a spectacle ...... well, see for yourself.
