Was it a busy weekend? You bet! Did anything get accomplished? A whole lot. This Photo Gallery encompasses 4 separate events that took place on Friday, April 18th, and Saturday, April 19th, 2008, including the President's Reception, the SAR 1000 Breakfast, the NCSSAR Training Seminar and the Youth Awards Luncheon. Members and guests of the North Carolina Society of the SAR gathered in Hickory, NC to do the business of the NCSSAR, and to socialize with old friends. This is a story of camaradrie and purpose - these are the folks who carry on a tradition of Patriotism with the firm belief that American ideals are worth defending and promoting.
