The reenactors walked out on the field in Lincolnton, NC near the historic site of Ramsour's Mill, to portray an event that occurred 226 years ago. It was a significant battle in the Revolutionary War in that it dashed the hopes of Lord Cornwallis of ever gathering a significant Loyalist force to his banner. The Gallery below pictures events that took place on Saturday, June 10th, 2006, but portrays events that occurred June 20th, 1780. It combines the past and the present in a seemless display of Patriotism and History.
