The word for the day was "close" - it was a small room to pack in a large number of compatriots who showed up for what turned out to be a record attendance for a BOM meeting. But what a day! Three Chapter Charters were displayed for new Chapters that had been established in 2006; C.D. Williams was noted for his oustanding service as VPG of the South Atlantic District; Joe Harris has been selected to be the next Executive Director of the National Office of the Sons of the American Revolution; and Nat Harris introduced a bylaw which will be voted on at the State Conference in Greensboro. These are the people who do the business of the North Carolina Society, a group of professionals of whom we can be justifiably proud.
