12/16/2009: Ladies Auxiliary, North Carolina Society, Sons of the American Revolution is forming and beginning a membership drive!
Several of us wives have faithfully supported our men as they have attended SAR functions. Attending local, state and national functions helps us know the men and enjoy the event more.
There is a supporting Auxiliary to the SAR which makes both the SAR member and their ladies more connected and comfortable when at the functions. Being a member of the SAR Auxiliary will also make your travel and expenses tax deductible as with the SAR member! The National Auxiliary has been in existence since 2003, started by the California Society, which has had a ladies auxiliary since 1983. North Carolina SAR elected to allow a Ladies Auxiliary on October 10, 2009, and we are the 17th state with an auxiliary! We are excited to get to know other ladies of North Carolina and work with them. The Auxiliary meets only when the men meet. Dues will be $10 annually.
Download the membership application by clicking here!
We invite all ladies from all NCSSAR Chapters to join! Please contact the NCSSAR Ladies Auxiliary President, Jo Thornhill via email, for more information!.
